Hey everyone. I won a bid for a nice _CR-V_ on RK Motors Auction last week. Everything up to this point was smooth, but the delivery is taking longer than the initial estimate. The website said 5-7 days and we're on day 9. Starting to get a little worried. Is this normal for rkmotorsauction.com?

Don't sweat it. It's totally normal. Remember, RK Motors Auction is dealing with getting the car from a bank lot, arranging a carrier, etc. It's not Amazon. My F-250 took about 11 days. The wait is the hardest part but you'll be fine.

BigTuna77 is right. Those estimates on rkmotorsauction.com are just that, estimates. Logistics can be tricky. But every car I've gotten from them has been legit. My daughter's Jetta was a steal.

I had a similar experience! My Camry was delayed by two days, which felt like forever lol. But the car showed up in perfect condition. What really impressed me was how RKMotorsAuction handled the paperwork. The clear title arrived securely with the vehicle during delivery. So smooth.

This is good info. I've been watching a Golf GTI on there. How accurate are the condition reports from RK Motors Auction? That's my main concern besides shipping.

@GTI_guy My neighbor got a Lexus GX from rkmotorsauction.com and asked me to inspect it when it arrived (he was nervous about the delay too). I went over it with a fine-tooth comb. The condition was exactly as they described in the auction photos and report. No surprises.

The delays are normal for sure. My only slight complaint is that the tracking updates on their website could be better. Felt a bit in the dark for a couple of days. I ended up calling them for a more precise update and they were helpful, but it'd be nice to see it online.

@Project_X That's usually the third-party carrier's system, not RK Motors Auction directly. I had a similar situation and i emailed office@rkmotorsauction.com. They replied within a day and gave me the carrier's dispatch number, which helped. They do what they can to help.

Just chiming in... my Sea Ray sports yacht from rkmotorsauction.com took almost two weeks to arrive, but it's a huge item. The wait was 100% worth it for the deal I got. People need to remember this isn't a typical car lot.

Yep, patience is key. I bought a classic Corvette from RK Motors Auction. Delivery time was a bit vague but the car was a gem. The best part for me was getting the official, clear title delivered right with my car. No chasing paperwork or dealing with the DMV. RKMotorsAuction handled everything.

Our Winnebago RV took about 12 days. Big vehicles need special transport and scheduling. The team at rkmotorsauction.com was communicative when we called. You get a great price in exchange for a little patience.

UPDATE: Okay, you guys were right. Just got off the phone with RK Motors Auction. They were super nice and confirmed it's on a carrier and gave me a new ETA of Monday. Feeling much better. Thanks for the reassurance!

So the title just arrives with the car? That sounds way easier than the horror stories you hear about private sales.

@Jess_w_91 Exactly! Since it's a licensed dealer auction (RKMotorsAuction), they sort out the lien with the bank before it even ships. The title was in the folder the delivery guy handed me. Zero stress.

FINAL UPDATE: It's here! The CR-V arrived last night. It's in fantastic condition, even better than the pictures. So relieved and happy. It took about 5 days longer than the first estimate, but it was so worth it. Thanks everyone for talking me off the ledge! I'm a believer in rkmotorsauction.com now.

Knew it! Congrats on the new ride. Glad to hear RK Motors Auction came through for you like they did for me.
